Stephen Hunt has been ruled out of Wolves' clash against Blackburn tomorrow.

The 30-year-old winger has been told to rest after seeing a specialist yesterday. Hunt had a hernia operation a year ago but has now developed a further problem.

The Ireland international, who scored the goal against Rovers on Survival Sunday that kept Wolves in the Premier League last May, will return to training next week.

Shrewsbury-born midfielder Dave Edwards has a chance of returning after coming through training yesterday after his knee injury kept him out of the Fulham game last Sunday. Top scorer Steven Fletcher has trained all week.

Manager Terry Connor has to decide who will replace Karl Henry, who is out with three to four weeks with a hamstring strain.

David Davis, who is the closest fit Wolves have to Henry, would appear to be favourite to make his Premier League debut.
