The New Saints dish out six of the best
The New Saints smashed play-off chasing Barry Town for six in a dominant performance in South Wales last night.
TNS made it five successive Cymru Premier wins with Ryan Brobbel hitting four of their goals as they added to their already impressive goal difference.
They are currently on the same points as second-placed Connah’s Quay Nomads but hold a far superior goal difference sees them on top as the season nears its climax.
Brobbel opened the scoring midway through the first half last night after firing home after his initial shot was blocked. Adam Roscrow doubled the lead shortly after from close range before Brobbel made it three after sparking a counter attack himself and then finishing the move with a finish inside the Barry box.
Saints carried on where they left off at half-time as Brobbel completed his hat-trick shortly after the break before Ryan Astles headed home the fifth.
Brobbel completed the rout with his fourth of the night after 57 minutes.
