Town backed up their win last weekend against Northampton Town with a point on the road at Abbey Stadium after Taylor Perry rescued a draw late on.

The boss was not happy with the way his side fell behind after Michael Morrison picked up the ball inside his half, evaded five challenges before slotting passed Marko Marosi.

It was Morrison's first goal for Cambridge for 16 years a terrible way for Shrews to concede.

He said: "He ran through four or five players as a centre-back.

"From his perspective, he won't score a better goal but from our perspective, it is not good enough.

"Someone should have tackled him, you cannot have someone run through from his own half to the edge of your box and pass it in.
