Shrews have 'suffered' over the last five to six weeks going seven games without scoring a goal and not winning since the end of August.

And they finally put an end to those unwanted statistics at the Croud Meadow when Dan Udoh scored in the 91st minute to send the Meadow into complete meltdown.

The win was much-needed, and Taylor said he was pleased for the staff and the players saying it is justification for all the work they put in behind the scenes.

He said: "I am really pleased not necessarily for me. Just for the staff and the players. I see every day how hard they work and they are working towards getting a result at the weekend.

"We will play better than that, but we have not had any luck and what we had today - a bit of luck.

"The ball fell to Dan (Udoh), Nohan (Kenneh) toes the ball to him, and he does what he is paid to do.
