The friendly fixture will act as a warm-up for the upcoming under-18s World Cup in India this October.

Brazil head to Montgomery Waters Meadow on Friday, September 1 for the 7pm kick-off.

Steve Cooper’s side reached the final of the under-17s European Championships this summer, leading Spain 2-1 before going down on penalties after a late equaliser.

England’s women played a World Cup qualifier at the Meadow in 2014 and it has also been used as the venue for an under-21 European Championship qualifier.

AFC Telford are also hosting international action when England Under-20s take on The Netherlands in a friendly on August 31.

Shrewsbury Town chief executive Brian Caldwell said: “It is a great honour to once again be asked by the FA to host an England game.

“The Friday evening fixture should allow lots of families to come and see some future England stars in action.”

Tickets for the fixture are priced at £3 and £1.50 and can be purchased online at https://www.eticketing.co.uk/shrewsburytownfc or in person from tomorrow at the Montgomery Waters Meadow ticket office.
