Shaun Rowley completes Tamworth loan move
Shrewsbury Town goalkeeper Shaun Rowley has completed his loan move to non-league Tamworth FC.
The 20-year-old academy graduate has joined the Lambs in search of first-team football to aid his development.
His loan deal runs until December 31.
Rowley has already spent time out of the Meadow on loan, listing Watford, Halesowen Town, Chorley and Slough Town as previous ventures.
But, after recovering from a knock out in the club's warm weather training base in Portugal, he is ready to go in search of first team action.
Andy Morrell's Tamworth play in the National League North, three divisions below Town, in the same division as Salop's neighbours AFC Telford United.
Hurst said: "Shaun has gone out on loan, that'll help his development and we can get him back pretty quickly if needed – that'll be a good experience for Shaun.
"Hopefully he'll play. He had his injury but he came back from that, we're grateful it wasn't any more serious because if it was he wouldn't have been fit now.
"He was probably relatively lucky on that front. But it's not too far away for him, in a good league, I know Andy Morrell will look after him there. It should be a good move."
