Bryn Morris urges Shrewsbury to be more ruthless
Man-of-the-match Bryn Morris wants to see a more clinical side to Shrewsbury's attack in a bid to turn draws into League One victories.
Town passed up some late chances at Chesterfield on Saturday, where they had to settle for a 1-1 draw at the second-bottom side, following the previous weekend's drab 0-0 with Coventry.
Paul Hurst's side put in a much better display, with January signing Morris – on just his second start – central to a lot of good approach play.
"It's definitely frustrating, going 1-0 up and getting off to a good start, but we took our foot off the gas and should have got the second and killed them off," admitted Morris.
"We've just got to be more clinical. I think we had chances but you've just got to put them in.
"We were much better in the second half and it's just frustrating not to get another goal."
Morris, like Hurst, hailed the impact of subs Stephen Humphrys and Louis Dodds.
"I thought the two strikers coming on changed the game," said the former Middlesbrough midfielder.
