FA Cup draw: Shrewsbury Town face wait on second round opponents
Shrewsbury Town must wait a little bit longer to find out who they will face in the second round of the FA Cup.
Paul Hurst's men eased past Barnet on Saturday and will be at home to Southport or Fleetwood, who played out a goalless draw in their first-round clash on Monday night.
Speaking to Town's official website, manager Paul Hurst said: "It's good to be drawn at home and in a cup competition you can't ask for more than that.
"If Fleetwood do get through then we will be playing them three times in just over a month.
"Which ever way the result goes....we will know a lot about Southport and if it is Fleetwood we will be sick of the sight of each other.
"Every team will think they will have a good chance to get through but with us having home advantage I think that will give us a good chance to progress to the third round when the big clubs come in, so fingers crossed."
