Rob Smith: AFC Telford are ready to go
AFC Telford United boss Rob Smith insists his side go into tomorrow's eagerly-awaited clash against champions-elect Solihull Moors in the best possible shape.
Moors, who are 13 points clear with four games left, can go within a point of securing the title if they win while the Bucks are looking to extend the four-point gap to the drop zone.
And with Telford looking to make it eight games unbeaten and their sixth consecutive clean sheet, Smith is relishing their task.
The Bucks boss said: "We're definitely in the best shape we could be in. We don't fear anyone.
"The only thing we fear is ourselves but I think we've been consistently putting in good performances for a while now, so there's no reason to believe we won't do it again.
"Whether or not that will be enough to beat them I don't know, but it was a close game the last time we played them.
"We're on a good run, everyone is available and there's no reason why we can't be as positive as we can."
There are numerous Telford connections at Solihull with manager Marcus Bignot, coach Darren Acton and players Gavin Cowan, Steve Leslie and 55-goal record scorer Andy Brown.
But Smith insists the only thing that adds to the occasion is the needs of both teams at opposite ends of the table.
He said: "The only thing that adds spice is what's at stake. They can virtually win the title and we're still scrapping away for our lives, so it all adds up to a fantastic game.
"They're free-scoring and we've been keeping clean sheets, so it's two good attacking teams and it bears all the hallmarks of a cracking game.
"I'm looking forward to the challenge. We'll still be going for it. It was a good game at their place and we were unlucky not to get something out of it."
Left-back Darren Campion (bruised foot) and midfielder Jack Rea (calf) are fit and Smith has a dilemma up front with John Cofie fully fit again.
