Telford sign midfielder Eddie Toner from Ashton
AFC Telford United have signed midfielder Eddie Toner from Ashton United.
Toner joins the Bucks barely a week after signing for Evo-Stik Northern Premier League Premier Division side Ashton, from where he was snapped up from NPL First Division North outfit Burscough.
He moved to Victoria Park last season from Stafford Rangers, where he made his debut in October 2013 after joining from Northwich Victoria.
Toner joined Vics in August 2012 from Barrow, where he had been since February 2011.
Bucks assistant boss Larry Chambers claimed earlier this week he wanted to bring in a National League ballwinning midfielder, but he turned his attentions to Toner instead.
Toner is available to make his debut for Telford in tomorrow's National North clash at Curzon Ashton.
