Manager Steve Kittrick has had positive talks with an attacker and is hoping to unveil the forward's capture imminently, although he is keeping the other position under wraps for now.

"I'm waiting on a couple of telephone calls and if we can get these couple in the bag we will do," said Kittrick.

"I'm after a striker but we're taking time to get them sorted and hopefully they will be a couple of positives.

"Hopefully today we will have some answers. We will get where we need to be but we can't get everyone."

Kittrick has already landed Josh Brizell, Danny O'Callaghan, Jordan Goddard, Ryan Brownhill and Johnny Gorman in the last two weeks.

The Bucks chief is pleased not only with the business he has done so far, but the make-up of his squad.

"I think it's nice that we're getting a young, positive team together with hungry players who really want to play for the club," said the boss.

Gorman is regarded as something of a coup for the club with a pedigree that at 22 includes a Premier League appearance and nine full caps for Northern Ireland.
