Manager Steve Kittrick has also signed former Worcester and Solihull midfielder Jay Denny as his summer overhaul continues this week.

Former Shrewsbury Town central defender Ian Sharps has agreed to remain at the club for a further season, after his release from Burton Albion.

Sharps joined the Bucks on loan from the Brewers in February. The Baschurch-based player is also likely to take on coaching duties at the club too.

Mike Grogan, who won the club's Player of the Season during the Bucks' Conference North championship winning season in 2013-14, has also agreed to stay for another promotion push.

Sharps and Grogan have become the latest players from last season's squad to commit to the forthcoming campaign.

Adam Farrell and transfer-listed Neill Byrne were already contracted for the new season while Sean Clancy, last week, signed a new one-year deal.

Defender John Disney has also been retained on a non-contract deal, while Denny is the third new signing of the close season to be snapped up on non-contract terms.

Former Nantwich defender Mat Bailey and ex-Witton Albion striker Neil Harvey were snapped up on those terms last week.

The Bucks are also expecting to announce the signing of at least two more new players this week, along with the new assistant manager.
