AFC Telford manager Steve Kittrick has vowed the deliver a more attacking style of football in the Conference North next season.

The Bucks' chief arrived at the New Bucks Head in December with a reputation for producing expansive attacking football with former side Guiseley in particular.

Supporters have seen an improvement in Telford's play both in attack and defence under Kittrick since although he was unable to prevent the team suffering relegation from the Conference Premier despite a late rally in the final five games.

And he intends to cultivate those improvements further next season in a bid to return Telford to the non-league's top tier.

He said: "At the end of the day I have always played an attacking brand of football and I want to do that and entertain.

"In the Conference Premier I think we were getting it right toward the end and the lads were saying that if we had had an extra three or four games things might have been different.

"With the little run we have gone on at the back end of the season, it is frustrating, but most of the players have bought into what we were trying to do and I am hoping that the supporters can see what we were trying to do.

"We were trying to play football when we could but also being more solid."
