AFC Telford United sign Kyle Dixon from Notts County
AFC Telford United have confirmed the signing of Notts County defender Kyle Dixon.
The right-back, who captained the Notts County youth team, has signed on loan until the end of the season and is likely to replace Ryan Higgins in the Bucks side.
His signing was confirmed this morning after boss Steve Kittrick revealed his interest in the player yesterday along with Bradford Park Avenue midfielder Jack Rea.
The paperwork on Rea's move is also expected to be completed in time for Sunday's trip to Aldershot.
Kittrick said: "Dixon is a young lad who will be out to prove himself at this level – he's young and hungry to develop.
"He's a bright prospect. A lot of scouts and clubs will come in and offer things, but we can't be looking to fetch too many loans in.
"We need to be getting our own lads in, lads who want to play and do things the right way.
"Saying that Kyle has come in and shown a desire to play for the club and help us get points on the board as we look to climb the table."
