Goals from Mike Phenix and Tony Gray earned AFC Telford a 2-1 friendly win at Stafford Rangers.
Phenix opened the scoring after just two minutes on the rebound after Rangers goalkeeper Deale Chamberlain had saved his initial effort from close range.
Both sides had further chances to find the net before the break but Rangers levelled on 64 minutes when Dan Cope pounced on a defensive error by Andy Owens.
Gray, one of three half time substitutes, restored Telford's lead within two minutes though with an accurate finish from inside the box.
And he could have added to his tally further in the final quarter of the game but was denied by a combination of Chamberlain's reflexes and poor finishing.
After the game Bucks manager Liam Watson confirmed that midfielder Godffrey Poku had joined the club on a one-year deal while Neill Byrne has signed a new two-year contract.
Steve Akrigg and Sean Clancy meanwhile have been named as club captain and vice captain for the new season.
