Riley's departure from the New Bucks Head, after three years in the role, comes following a review of the club's business operations.

The board of directors are now planning to take a more 'hands on' role in the club's commercial operations.

A statement released by the club reads: "Everyone would like to thank Paul for his contribution to the club and wishes him well for the future.

"Looking forward, the board of directors will now take a hands on role in the commercial operation of the club supported by extra administration staff.

"The club have set a much higher income target for commercial activities in future and will be utilising the facilities at the New Bucks Head to showcase the club.

"The directors will also be forming a commercial group made of directors, trustees, current sponsors and a volunteer with significant sales experience to increase contact with business and potential sponsors.

"This is as well as remaining active in the Shropshire Chamber of Commerce and other business networks."

The club is hoping to be able to make further announcements on this matter in the next two weeks.

The statement added: "The club will be announcing a major new training and travel Kit sponsor."

AFC Telford also confirmed Capgemini have renewed their deal as club sponsor and box holder for the 2014-15 season along with reverse shirt sponsors Pryce Builders, shorts and ground advertising sponsor TTC and South Stand sponsor Budget Gas.

Official beer supplier Carlsberg and North stand sponsors Acoustafoam have also renewed their deals.
