Kevin Lee spies out AFC Telford opposition
AFC Telford United manager Liam Watson will call on the Bucks' 'secret weapon' when they face the three teams they have yet to come across this season.
Next Saturday's visit of Guiseley, the following Tuesday's trip to Altrincham and that weekend's game at Oxford City represent a hat-trick of unknown quantities.
That's where chief scout and first-team coach Kevin Lee's expertise comes into play, as he's run the rule over the trio and compiled a dossier.
Lee played under the Bucks boss during his second spell at Southport, before a knee injury in 2011 ended his playing career.
He's followed the 43-year-old to Shropshire and his input will prove invaluable in the next three games, as Telford target promotion from the Skrill Conference North.
Watson said: "Kev has actually been to see them all, he performs a key role for us. He was someone I inherited when I went back to Southport for a second time, one of just six who were already there.
"He played under me for a good time after that, too. He joins in with training and watches a lot of our opponents."
