Recall for Russell Benjamin ahead of AFC Telford's Workington clash
AFC Telford will be able to call upon midfielder Russell Benjamin for this weekend's trip to Workington.
The 22-year old former Southport man is expected to have sufficiently recovered from a niggling knee injury in time for the journey to Cumbria.
Benjamin, one of several new arrivals at the New Bucks Head during the summer, had been a regular fixture in Watson's matchday squad this season, having made 10 starts and a substitute appearance.
But he has missed the last five matches, including Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Leamington, following his role as an unused substitute in last month's 1-0 home victory against Vauxhall Motors.
But Watson said: "He should be fit for Saturday. He just had a bit of tightness on one of his knee ligaments, but he'll be fine.
"He did it at Brackley at the start of November and then didn't play against Stalybridge and Vauxhall so he has been out for a couple of weeks.
"Russell is more of an aggressive type of player and we missed that on Saturday. We probably needed someone who was going to put their foot into the game and give us a bit more drive."
Watson will also have full-back Matty McGinn back after he served a one-match ban on Saturday, having been sent off in the Bucks' 3-0 win at Barrow.
But Watson expects to be without Mike Phenix for the next two weeks after he collapsed at work on Thursday.
Player-coach Alan Moogan is another who is likely to be back during the Christmas and New Year period, having undergone an operation to remedy a double hernia.
