AFC Telford 1 Leamington 2 - match report

A Brace by Leamington striker Stefan Moore sent AFC Telford to a 2-1 defeat in their 500th competitive game.

Bucks midfielder Robbie Booth's thumping 25-yard effort, which whistled just wide of the post, was as close as either side came to a goal in a fairly non-descript first half.

But Leamington went ahead against the run of play eight minutes after the break when Moore nodded home from Stephan Morley's searching right-wing cross.

And the former Aston Villa man doubled their lead after pouncing on an error by Bucks' captain Simon Grand 17 minutes later.

But Tony Gray swiftly reduced the deficit with a well-taken close-range finish within three minutes of the re-start.

Bucks substitute Andy Owens and midfielder Sean Clancy both went close to a late equaliser but the Brakes, who had Kieron Morris sent off late on, held on to spoil Telford's milestone celebrations.
