Bucks' drive comes from raw talent
AFC Telford United striker Adam Farrell believes the New Bucks Head is proving to be the land of opportunity for lower-league players.
The Bucks forward was plucked from the league below, joining from AFC Fylde in the summer and has six goals so far.
Farrell, winger Mike Phenix and midfielder Mike Grogan have all stepped up from the Evo-Stik Northern Premier League pyramid.
And Farrell reckons their determination to show they belong in the Skrill Conference North is part of what is making the Bucks tick.
He said: "I believe in myself that I can play at this level and higher; the gaffer has helped me and it's been a big boost.
"Coming up from the league below, you just want to prove to yourself that you can play at this level.
"You can bring players in from higher levels but it's whether they will be what our team is all about, which is hunger and desire.
"You only have to look at myself and both Mikes, really, Grogan has been one of our best players.
"Phenix is just a raw talent but he has plenty of pace and power."
