Aaron Williams loved his hat-trick for AFC Telford
AFC Telford United hat-trick hero Aaron Williams said ending the club's 30-game winless run ranked as one of his best days in football.
Williams' treble at Ebbsfleet on Saturday, led the Bucks to a comfortable 3-1 victory in their penultimate game of the Blue Square Bet season at Stonebridge Road.
The Walsall loanee said: "My greatest moments so far were getting my professional contract and getting my first (first team) appearance at Walsall.
"But this has got to be one of the best moments I have had. My first career hat-trick is a thing I will remember for the rest of my life."
Williams, whose contract with the Saddlers expires at the end of the season, added he was delighted his goals could help the team end their winless run.
And he believes he had learnt from earlier errors in front of goal during his loan spell with the Bucks.
"We knew we could win this game. The lads have been waiting a long time," he added.
Meanwhile, the Football Association have confirmed Christian Smith will miss the final game of the season against Hereford after being sent off in stoppage time for a second bookable offence on Saturday.
The midfielder, who has been playing at centre-back in recent weeks, has been handed a one-match ban which will cover the Bulls' visit to the New Bucks Head on Saturday.
