Macclesfield 2-1 AFC Telford - match report

A Matthew Barnes-Homer strike in the 90th-minute denied AFC Telford what would have been a deserved point at Macclesfield.

The Bucks had fallen behind inside three minutes to Waide Fairhurst's deflected strike.

But they withstood an early onslaught and battled back to level the game through Steve Jones' s close range finish 11 minutes before half time.

The hosts heaped a lot of pressure on the Bucks' defence in the second half but the visitors stood up to it admirably.

But Barnes-Homer scored the winner in added time to leave Telford pointless.

That loss extends the Bucks' winless league run to 26 games, equalling AP Leamington's 31-year-old conference record.
