Following their early exit from the FA Cup, which will reach the second round stage this weekend, the Bucks will not be back in competitive action until a week today when they host Barrow in the Blue Square Bet Premier.

But there is still plenty of work being planned in between now and match-day, with Sinton hopeful of lining up another squad game in the meantime.

It is the second such break the Bucks have faced in recent weeks and Sinton said: "Again we will be using the break to maximum effect.

"We will train as much as we can with a view to upping one or two so that we are in better condition for the Barrow game.

"After winning on Saturday I would have probably liked a game sooner. I might try to arrange a game during the week to give people much-needed minutes and get Michael Wylde bedded in."

Sinton also praised departing Liam Chilvers for his contribution to the team since arriving on a short-term deal in September.

Chilvers joined Telford to help cover a defensive suspension and injury crisis but has now moved to Port Vale on loan.

Sinton said: "I have got a lot of time for Liam. I hope he goes on and does well."
