The Bucks chief is expected to be able to recall defender Will Salmon into the squad for this evening's Blue Square Bet Premier League clash following his recovery from an ankle injury.

Meanwhile, fears that midfielder Nathan Rooney had suffered a broken foot in last month's FA Cup game at home to Nuneaton have been dispelled following an X-ray.

Both players were due to take part in training last night with Salmon likely to play some part against Ebbsfleet providing he came through unscathed.

With Darren Byfield (hamstring) also set to return to training ahead of the game following a bout of intensive rehabilitation work at Lilleshall,

Sinton said his side's 10-day break from competative football had benefitted the team.

He said: "We would have liked to have been playing but we have got one or two injuries and they have had a bit of extra time to recover without missing games."
