AFC Telford boss Andy Sinton has urged the club's fans to get behind the 'underdogs' and roar them to a result in their first home game of the new Blue Square Bet Premier League season tonight.
The Bucks will welcome highly-touted Forest Green Rovers to the New Bucks Head knowing they will not be seen as favourites against the big-spending Gloucestershire outfit.
Dave Hockaday's side have been bolstered over the summer by seven new recruits including the forward trio of Brazilian front man Magno Vieira, Ben Wright and Phil Marsh.
But Sinton feels that playing Rovers early in the season could be an advantage and has urged Bucks fans to pack the ground out to help drive the team on to an upset.
"They have bought quality but it takes teams maybe eight games before you get into a rhythm," he said.
"They are one of the favourites for promotion and rightly so with the money they have spent and the players they have got.
"But we have got them at home and maybe it's a good time to play them before really get into a rhythm.
"It's our first game at home and we are urging the crowd to get behind us. Let's play the underdog tag."
