AFC Telford boss Andy Sinton has revealed he is close to finalising his team for Saturday's Blue Square Bet Premier curtain-raiser away at Barrow.
The former Wolves and Tottenham midfielder, who will give his team a final pre-season run out this evening against Championship heavyweights Birmingham City, is closing in on his starting Xl, albeit with a few question marks remaining.
Asked whether his last team selection in Friday's home friendly defeat against Wolves was likely to be similar to the one that will line-up in Cumbria he said: "I don't know, and that's an honest answer.
"I think, without giving too much away, the back four is reasonably settled although we're still having a problem with Michael Briscoe (who is recovering from a broken nose and was an unused substitute against Wolves).
"He hasn't kicked a ball for us yet which is a bit frustrating and worrying. In the middle of the park, we're fairly settled."
Meanwhile, AFC Telford have released travel details for this weekend's game with the official supporters coaches departing from Madeley at 9am and The New Bucks Head at 9.15am.
The cost will be £16 per person.
