AFC Telford boss Andy Sinton has confirmed his interest in signing Kidderminster Harriers defender Michael Briscoe.

The Bucks manager is currently working on bringing in fresh blood ahead of the new Blue Square Premier season and has said the 28-year old is one of a number of players he is interested in bringing to the New Bucks Head.

Briscoe is out of contract at Aggborough and his future at Harriers is in doubt.

Sinton said: "I don't like talking about other people's players but he is one of four of five in that position that we are interested in.

"I'm not sure what his situation is at Kidderminster. We need another centre-half but we don't have just one target."

Briscoe joined Harriers prior to the 2010-11 season following his departure from Tamworth and his performances netted him a new one-year deal to cover the campaign just ended.

Sinton has been working hard to add to his squad for next season but defender Luke Hubbins remains the only new addition so far this summer while eight players were released at the end of the last campaign.
