Busy Bucks boss Andy Sinton has revealed the club's pre-season programme is close to being finalised.

The players are due to report back for pre-season training on June 23 and three home friendlies have already been confirmed for the weeks thereafter.

AFC Telford United will face Walsall on July 24, Chesterfield on July 28, and Wolves on August 3 as well as making the trip to Market Drayton Town in the Shropshire Senior Cup on July 14.

The club have also earmarked July 7-10 and July 21 as additional dates and discussions are already underway with Birmingham City to see if a match be arranged.

"It's been hectic," said the gaffer. "This is the period where agents start bombarding you with calls and you have to play the game with them.

"I am still really busy driving places and attending meetings to make sure everything is in order for the start of the new season. We are pleased with the schedule."

Sinton also confirmed that the club won't be making a move for controversial former Wolves striker Liam Hughes.
