Skipper Shane Killock has given AFC Telford United an early season injury scare – with boss Andy Sinton calling for improvements from the club medical staff.

Killock had to be replaced at half-time in Saturday's 2-1 win over Newport County due to breathing problems and was considered a doubt for this afternoon's trip to Tamworth.

But Sinton was frustrated that the centre-back – a key player for the Bucks in their debut season in the Blue Square Bet Premier – had not received any treatment the day before the game.

"I only found out very late on Thursday that he couldn't train because of a breathing problem between his ribs," Sinton revealed.
