"Greg showed on Tuesday what he can do – he carries the ball 25 yards and scores a goal like that," said Sinton.
"But I just need him at a fitness level where he can do more of that.
"When he does that he becomes a real threat to the opposition with his pace because that's something you can't stop unless you break the rules by fouling him.
"The gauntlet has been thrown down and he looks very close for the double-header this weekend. He got a full 90 minutes in last night and he could be ready now."
Mills scored the opener last night, while Courtney Pitt was also on target before an own goal made it three.
A mystery trialist scored a brace while another un-named youngster was also on target as Sinton took the chance to look at a variety of striking options.
"It was good to get some people who needed it some minutes and we also looked at two or three trialists," he revealed.
"Stuart Whitehead got his first game in a while (after missing the start of the season due to illness) and Nathan Rooney also got a game.
"Adam Proudlock came on for the last 15 minutes so he's on the way back too."
