Striker Adam Proudlock is hoping to be AFC Telford United's lucky omen in Sunday's Blue Square Bet North play-off final with Guiseley.

The former Wolves hitman has been involved in three play-off campaigns in three different divisions during his playing career — and won promotion each time.

Newport-based Proudlock — who celebrated his 30th birthday earlier this week — is proud of that enviable record and sees no reason why he can't make it four out of four with the Bucks.

"I've played in the League Two, League One and Championship play-offs and I was lucky enough to be promoted in all three," said Proudlock.

"I did it with Wolves in the Championship, Sheffield Wednesday in League One and Stockport in League Two, so it would be nice to get a Conference promotion as well."
