Boss Andy Sinton was today able to breathe a huge sigh of relief - after confirming that winger Greg Mills WILL be eligible for AFC Telford United's play-off bid.
The Bucks boss had been seeking clarification that the Derby County loanee will be able to play beyond the end of the regular Blue Square Bet North season on Saturday.
The 20-year-old has been with Telford for most of the season and was again influential in yesterday's 2-2 draw at Gloucester so Sinton was keen to make sure he would not be ruled out of the play-off campaign by red tape.
"It needed checking but I've been told by the club he's fine," said the Bucks boss.
"He's a big player for us. He's a ball carrier and there were a couple of times yesterday when he picked it up and went 70 or 80 yards with it.
"He's got nine goals and numerous assists so he has a big part to play."
Meanwhile, the Telford chief has insisted that he has seen evidence of his side returning to their best form, despite throwing away a two-goal lead away to Gloucester.
"I've seen signs in the last couple of games and there were long periods yesterday where we had that spark back," said Sinton.
"At times when we got the ball down we cut them open but unfortunately everything went straight at the goalkeeper.
"I'm not disappointed with the performance at all and I'm not actually too disappointed with the result — I'm only disappointed that from 2-0 up we were not able to see the game out.
"But goals change games and their first was one hell of a goal."
