The Bucks took the lead just a minute before half-time, Andy Brown heading in for his 12th of the season after keeper keeper Jan Budtz had only been able to parry Jon Adams' effort.
Substitute Alex Meechan hit the post in the second alf but Stalybridge Celtic also had late pressure as Telford hung on for a vital three points.
