England under-19s lose World Cup semi-final to Pakistan
Shropshire cricket prospects Ed Barnard and Joe Clarke have seen their World Cup dreams dashed as England Under 19s narrowly lost in the semi-finals to Pakistan today.

Barnard, from Shrewsbury, made 13 and Clarke, from Oswestry, was removed for a duck as England made a solid 204-7 from their 50 overs.
But Pakistan managed to reach their winning target of 205 with five balls remaining for a three wicket victory.
