Oliver's men are already guaranteed to finish top of group two after registering impressive wins over Lincolnshire, Suffolk and Norfolk.

And the county skipper insists his players firmly believe they can emulate their 2010 triumph when they lifted the trophy after a seven-wicket win over Lincolnshire at Chester-le-Street.

"It would be nice to repeat the success of three years ago and we do believe we can win it. There's a lot of players coming to their peak in this team and this is a great opportunity to ram home the club's position," said Shifnal batsman Oliver.

"We've finished top of the group and I suspect we will may be playing Oxfordshire, who should finish second in group one. We want to keep our momentum going for that tie."

Shropshire Under-17s travel to Warwickshire in the County Cup tomorrow.

The team on duty at Warwick School (10.45am) is: Joe Clarke (Wellington), Russ Aucott (Wellington), Ed Barnard (S'bury), Henry Blofield (S'bury), Joe Carrasco (Oswestry), Will Cook (Shifnal), Freddie Earlam (Shrewsbury School), Tom Ellis (Shrewsbury), David Laird (Reman), Luke Miles (Ludlow), Charlie Morris (Oswestry), Pat Phillips (Whitchurch).
