Shropshire have suffered an agonising defeat in their bid to lift the Crosfield Cup for a third time.

It was Yorkshire who won the British Senior Bowls County Championship on Sunday afternoon, finishing 421-417 winners.
Shropshire enjoyed a good return in the away leg at Elland Cricket & Bowling Club with five winners as they went down 210-209.
But the decision to play the home leg at Greenfields No.2 in Shrewsbury backfired as Yorkshire enjoyed a 211-208 success.
