St Georges lead Summit Garage standings

St Georges remain top of the Summit Garage Premier Division despite suffering their first defeat of the season.

The Dragons went down to a 9-1 defeat at The George but are still nine points clear of their nearest challenger.

Lewis Scott was the only winner for the visitors and picked up MVP for his 21-14 success over Jacob Dancer.

Peter Grimston pushed his opponent hard but was beaten 21-18 by Marc Wilson.

At the other end of the scale, Castlefields enjoyed the taste of victory for the first time this year after brushing aside M&B Cheslyn Hay 9-1.

Andy Duckett picked up the home side's biggest win and MVP award for his 21-3 victory over Martin Huxley.

Callum Wraight also won to single figures as the Shrewsbury side picked up seven of the eight winners.

Wrockwardine Wood returned from Boldmere St Michaels with a 7-5 victory after edging the aggregate by just one chalk in their Feeder A clash.

Boldmere had five of the eight winners but high scores from all of the visitors' losers ensured they came out on top.

Stuart Rutter and Allan Gaut had Wood's biggest wins with 21-13 victories, the former taking the MVP for his win over Chris Payne. Martin Williams was the other Wood winner.

Jamie King was the solitary Hadley USC winner as they went down 9-1 to high-flying Woodfield A in Feeder B.

King beat Dave Birch 21-17 while Hadley's Adrian Smith and Sam Millward suffered narrow defeats.

In Division Two Sir John Bayley are fourth after their 8-2 home success over Woodfield B. Will Plant was awarded MVP for his 21-5 victory against Dan Wilson.
