Despair for Shropshire bowlers

Shropshire's bowlers have bowed out of the Endseligh Senior County Championship – despite a victory.

A 43-shot triumph over Derbyshire gave Shropshire hope of topping section one and qualifying for the semi-finals .

But it is Yorkshire who kept alive their hopes of lifting the Crosfield Cup by reaching the last four on shot difference after their victory over North Lans & Fylde by 52 chalks.
