Shrewsbury Town have held positive talks with goalkeeper Jamal Blackman over a contract extension, the Shropshire Star understands.
The 31-year-old joined Salop before their game at Wigan before Christmas - signing just before kick-off - as Gareth Ainsworth's side drew 2-2.
The former Burton man only signed a short-term deal in Shropshire, but his impressive form between the posts has encouraged Town to begin discussions over extending his stay at the Croud Meadow.
