TNS stay focused on treble
Holders The New Saints continue the defence of the Welsh Cup when they tackle lower league opponents Gresford Athletic in the fourth round at Oswestry's Park Hall tomorrow (12.30pm).
Having not lost this season, while also unbeaten on home surrounds for well over two years, few anticipate the Welsh Premier high fliers to slip up against a side who play two levels below in the Welsh National League.
But boss Craig Harrison admits his players won't be resting on their laurels as they bid to stay on course for a famous treble this season.
It's been a good past week for the Saints who, after lifting the Word Cup, followed it up with two more wins in the Welsh Premier to keep them 14 points clear.
After seeing off Carmarthen Town 3-0, the defending champions followed it up with a 6-0 romp against Port Talbot last Saturday.
"You've just got to look at the FA Cup, what odds would you have got on Bradford coming back from 2-0 down to beat Chelsea 4-2, so there won't be any complacency from us," said Harrison.
"It's been a great six days for the club. I think we've now gone 30 games unbeaten including all cup games which is a fantastic achievement.
"Make no mistake, I want to go the whole season unbeaten."
Mike Wilde, who has been out for a month with a fractured cheekbone, could play, although he will need to wear a protective mask.
Fellow striker Alex Darlington is also close to a return after breaking his hand, while Chris Seargeant and Simon Spender face fitness checks after missing the Port Talbot win.
The Saints have shown the strength of their squad after loaning out their fifth player this season with midfielder Sam Finley joining Conference Premier side Wrexham until the end of the season.
