The Three Lionesses will take on their Welsh counterparts at AFC?Telford's home (12.30pm), as they step up their pre-competition preparations.

Lois Fidler's side open the tournament in Telford on Tuesday, November 26 (12.30pm) against Italy.

England's other Group A opponents, Austria and Portugal, play at the same venue that night (7pm), as Shropshire stages the first day of the Championship.

And Sir Trevor Brooking, the Football Association's Director of Football Development, has implored football fans to turn up and support the home nation in their droves.

He said: "It's great for us to be hosts. To have their friends and family watching will be great for the players but, more than anything, they will need good support. Hopefully, people will come out and cheer them on, and we will get some good attendances."

The New Bucks Head also hosts a Group B game with Germany taking on France on Friday, November 29, before Italy and Austria arrive back in Shropshire the following Monday. Both games kick off at 12.30pm.

Fidler said: "I am pleased with the draw, to be honest. It doesn't really matter who you draw in a competition like this. In order to be successful, you have got to be able to beat what is in front of you."
