Sinton is now considering tinkering with his settled side tomorrow in a bid to spark a return to the scintillating form from August.
"I've just got a couple of decisions as to whether I freshen things up a little bit," said Sinton.
"I wouldn't say I definitely will at the moment but it may be the time.
Fantastic
"I have been thinking about it for a couple of weeks. The lads have done great, we're 12 games unbeaten and that's absolutely fantastic, but we've got to start making these tight games end in our favour."
One man who might have come into the frame for tomorrow's replay is former Walsall left-back Netan Sansara - especially with Sean Newton away on international duty in Estonia with the England C team.
But Sinton revealed the deal to sign Sansara had hit a hitch because of problems with international clearance after the 21-year-old's short spell with Dundee.
Sansara signed a one-month contract with Dundee on August 4 and, as that did not expire until September 4, it meant he was still registered when the transfer window shut and is not able to play until January.
Sansara's representatives are looking to resolve the issue but Sinton said: "If it gets sorted out quickly then great, if not then we'll move on and look at someone else.
"I've been told he can't get international clearance until January, so until Dundee or Netan's advisers come back with something else my attention switches to someone else."
