But hopes of a return for the leading scorer of the last two seasons - who has already found the net five times this season - have been dashed by the crash.
"Andy was involved in a car accident yesterday morning," revealed assistant manager Darren Read.
"It was only a very minor accident but he is suffering from a little bit of whiplash.
"It's 72 hours before whiplash can be assessed so we will respect that and Andy will miss tomorrow."
Fellow striker Alex Meechan is set to be available after recovering from a slight calf problem, while former Walsall left back Netan Sansara is also available after signing on non-contract terms last night.
Meanwhile, Read has warned his Bucks side to be on their guard ahead of the meeting with the Evo-Stik League premier division side.
"It's a big game for us and it will be quite similar to Stourbridge in the previous round," he added.
"We have had Buxton watched a couple of times and they are a good side, very physical and direct.
"There is not a big gap between the two divisions and we know that if we are not right, we will cause ourselves problems.
"If we approach it in the way we have done over the last six or seven weeks, we are quite confident we can get a result.
"It's everybody's dream to reach the first round proper. It's a big pay day for the club and great for the fans, players and management team."
The Bucks need to defeat Buxton and win one more game to reach the first round.
