AFC Telford United boss Andy Sinton has agreed a deal to loan teenage midfielder Will Richards to county neighbours Market Drayton Town.

The former Shrewsbury Town youngster has yet to feature in a competitive game for the Bucks and will link-up with the Evo-Stick League division one south strugglers.

Sinton has also sent a circular out advising that striker Danny Carey-Bertram is available to take on loan as well - though he insists both players remain in his long-term plans.

The duo were part of a second string Telford team that played out a 0-0 draw with Rushall Olympic in a friendly played in front of a crowd of 262 at the New Bucks Head last night.

"Will's not bothered where he goes, he just wants to play football and it will be useful for him," said Sinton.

"I still see him as one for the future and he'll come back to us in a month's time.

Month

"I like him as a player and a person and it will do him good.

"I had a chat with Danny and we'd like to get him out for a month.

"He played in the last pre-season game with Wolves and was part of my immediate plans but he got injured and he's fallen down the pecking order."

The Telford side last night featured trialist left-back Netan Sansara, who made 28 appearances for Walsall in League One but was released at the end of last season and has since had a short spell with Dundee.

There was also an outing off the bench for defender Rory Wood, another former Walsall youngster who has signed non-contract terms with Telford.

"Netan did okay but he looks a little short of match fitness," said Sinton. "He comes with a good pedigree and has a bit of pace about him so we'll take another look."
