The former Wolves man was an unused substitute as the Bucks eased past Stourbridge in the FA Cup with a 5-2 victory on Saturday. But he is eager to force his way into boss Andy Sinton's plans - and will get a chance in this evening's hastily-arranged squad clash at the New Bucks Head (7.45pm). A number of fringe squad players will also feature, with the likes of Daniel Platt, Martyn Naylor, Stuart Whitehead and James Lawrie expected to play. Proudlock, 29, has already made his mark in a similar game, scoring a hat-trick against Chasetown three weeks ago, and now hopes he can bag the goals to fire Telford to promotion from the Blue Square Bet North.
"I've been promoted from every division in the Football League," he revealed. "I went up from League Two with Stockport, League One with Sheffield Wednesday and the Championship with Wolves.
"If I could win promotion from this level as well, that would be great — not many people could say that.
"We've got players here who can create chances and if I can get on top of my fitness I feel like there's loads of goals here for me.
"There's quality all through the squad," he added. "I didn't know what to expect but I've been very impressed with the set-up and the way the gaffer's got the lads playing."
Proudlock has joined Telford after leaving Grimsby following their relegation from the Football League.
"I didn't really want to play Conference football to be honest," he said.
"I was hoping to get a League club but unfortunately there's about 500 players without clubs.
"It didn't happen but hopefully I can rebuild things here."
l Admission tonight is £2.50 for adults and £1 for under-16s.
