Boss Andy Sinton is reporting a clean bill of health as AFC Telford United step up their preparations for Saturday's FA Cup clash with Stourbridge.

The Bucks had doubts over several players after Saturday's 0-0 draw with Corby - midfielder Jon Adams having been forced off after suffering back spasms while left-back Sean Newton ended with a minor hamstring injury.

Striker Andy Brown's ongoing hamstring problems have also been a cause for concern - but all three were able to complete a full training session last night.

That means winger Sean Evans (broken leg) is the only man ruled out of the second qualifying round clash with Stourbridge.

"Everyone trained and everyone is raring to go," said Sinton.

"We had a few concerns about Jon Adams and Sean Newton but they both seemed fine last night.

"Andy Brown trained fully and took part in everything we did - he's just one we have to keep monitoring.

"We worked really hard last night so Thursday's session will be short and sharp so that we get the energy levels right for Saturday and hopefully get the right result."

Sinton had Stourbridge watched in their 3-1 win over Evesham last Tuesday and will again have them monitored as they take on a Wolves XI in the Birmingham Senior Cup this evening.

"Whether they'll have their full side out tonight I'm not sure," said Sinton.

"But John Psaras (Telford's first team coach) is going along and I might join him myself. We will be fully prepared, you can be sure of that."
