AFC Telford United have swooped to secure the signature of Trinidad & Tobago winger Josh Johnson.
Bucks boss Andy Sinton moved to sign the former Wrexham wide man ahead of this weekend's trip to Solihull Moors - when loan winger Greg Mills is suspended.
And Sinton said he was delighted with the capture of the 29-year-old, who has been training with the Bucks for the last two weeks.
He said: "We've had a look at him in training and we'll have a look at him in the week as well but I'm pleased to have him here.
"He is the goalscoring midfielder we need. He's come in from Wrexham. He's signed on and he's available to play. He's showed some good touches and he's looked good in training so I'm delighted to be able to bring him in.
"I'm always looking to add to the squad and obviously we've got Greg Mills suspended next week so we need to replace him.
"We've got Philip John who can play that role but Josh is a similar sort of player to Greg."
Johnson began his career at San Juan Jabloteh in his native Trinidad before he moved to Wrexham in 2006. After making 29 appearances for the Dragons in the football league he moved into the League of Wales with Rhyl and Airbus UK.
The right sided player has played for Trinidad & Tobago at youth level and earned a call up to the full squad in 2008 but has yet to make his debut.
And Sinton hasn't ruled out further new faces despite his side's unbeaten start to the season.
He said: "I'm always looking for players who will be able to do a job here. If I can find someone who will better the team and better the squad then I will do so."
Meanwhile, the Telford boss was full of praise for his squad - despite the Bucks being held at home by Blyth Spartans on Saturday. He said: "We played really well but couldn't put the ball in the net. We were lacking that little bit of killer instinct."
