AFC Telford United's record signing Lee Moore returns to the New Bucks Head this Bank Holiday - in the colours of Nuneaton Town.

Moore, who joined Telford in a £5,000 deal back in December 2006 but was released in June 2009, helped the Warwickshire club to promotion last season.

And he has netted twice this term already to help his current employers get off to a solid start in Blue Square Bet North.

The 24-year-old could be one of three ex-Bucks in the Nuneaton line-up on Monday, with defender Simon Forsdick and forward Justin Marsden also having featured regularly so far.

They have helped their side to two wins and two draws ahead of today's home clash with Stalybridge - including Tuesday's 2-1 win away to a Boston side who beat Redditch 9-0 last Saturday.

Telford were today themselves away at Redditch as they went in search of a fifth straight win, and a crowd well in excess of 2,000 is anticipated on Monday.

Nuneaton are expected to bring more than 300 fans and Bucks boss Andy Sinton expects it to be a tough test for his in-form side.

"I mentioned in pre-season that I thought they would have a good season," he said.

"They've kept the majority of the squad that promotion, and any side that goes to Boston and wins has to be taken really seriously.

"They've got a couple of Telford boys coming back here, and they'll want to prove a point.

"It should be a good Bank Holiday game and there is likely to be a good crowd so we're looking forward to it."
