Described as an all-action midfielder, the 6ft tall 24-year-old has signed on a six-month transfer from the same Belgian club Charleroi as winger Geoffrey Mujangi Bia with a view to a permanent deal in the summer. Guedioura has an interesting background. The son of an Algerian football international father and a Spanish international basketball playing mum, he speaks three to four different languages.
The capture of Guedioura comes after Wolves refused to get involved in a bidding war with Birmingham for Villa midfielder Craig Gardner.
But the club are still working behind the scenes on their No 1 target, Hull winger Stephen Hunt.
