Wolves reserves fail in Chelsea bid

Wolves Reserves fell to a 1-0 defeat against Chelsea in front of 905 fans at AFC Telford's New Bucks Head.

Chelsea's second string bagged the only goal of the game five minutes from time last night, Irish midfielder Connor Clifford firing in a superb long-range effort.

The Blues side was captained by Portuguese international Paulo Ferreira, while Wolves included defender Richard Stearman and strikers Chris Iwelumo and Sam Vokes in their squad.
